WeJoy Games is a tiny indie studio founded by Helen Cheng, formerly a Senior Game Designer at Blizzard Entertainment. In 2016, we took the leap into indie development full-time with a bold and foolhardy goal: "Let's see what we can make, and learn as much as possible along the way."
WeJoy works with trusted partners from all over the world including San Francisco, Virginia, New York, and internationally. Together, our project teams have decades of experience working on casual, mobile, and AAA games. We straddle the line between casual and hardcore. Believe it or not, we've spent as many hours in Bejeweled Blitz and Disney Tsum Tsum, as we have farming legendaries in WoW or Diablo III. We LOVE playing match 3's (yeah, you heard us). We drink a lot of coffee. Our local Starbucks baristas know us by name. We adore cats and dogs, and our studio is home to a shy 14-year-old tortoiseshell cat named Luna, and a vigilant 6-year-old shih tzu named Oreo.
Inspired by our favorite games, WeJoy hopes to create more casual mobile games with great core gameplay, interesting characters, and satisfying experiences. Our story is to be continued, and we welcome you to follow along. Thank you!
